Two people were arrested on Friday after police executed a narcotics search.
According to Groesbeck police, JCAT members in the 800 block of East Milam Street in Mexia executed the search.
Both suspects were found to be in possession of methamphetamine and were placed in the county jail.
The JCAT investigation was led by Mexia police Lt. Tracy Edwards and Groesbeck police Det. John Blanco and was initiated following reports of suspected drug activity at the location.
There were no injuries sustained by JCAT members of the suspects during the operation.
