Baylor soccer clocked in at No. 9 in the final United Soccer Coaches Top 25 poll, topping the No. 11 ranking in both 2012 and 2017 for the highest-ever finish in the rankings in program history.

Baylor has finished the season in the top 25 four times in the program's 22-year history, checking in at 18th in 1998, 11th in both 2012 and 2017, and now No. 9 in 2018.

The Bears hold the highest ranking among Big 12 schools, topping West Virginia (No. 14), Texas (No. 20), and Texas Tech (No. 24). Both TCU and Kansas received votes.

BU took a repeat trip into the NCAA Elite 8 for the first time, clinching the program’s first regular season Big 12 title since 1998 with a program-record 20 wins.

Baylor closed out the 2018 season with a 20-6-0 record, including an 8-1-0 mark in Big 12 play.

Head coach Paul Jobson was named the Big 12 Coach of the Year, while he and his staff earned the United Soccer Coaches Midwest Regional Staff of the Year honors.

BU has won the most games of any school in the Big 12 over the last two seasons (35) and has advanced further in postseason than any team in the conference or the State of Texas in each of the last two years.
