Hope Rising Ministries is set to host The Boots and Bells Gala. It is an evening of dinner and dancing to support children rescued from human trafficking.

The dinner will feature live music and a silent/live auction. Inspirational speakers including Cynthia Borsellino, a trafficking survivor, and Jennifer Hohman of Hope Rising, will also address the crowd.

“While human trafficking is known as a worldwide problem, the issue really hits home in Texas,” Hope Rising released in a statement. “The Institute of Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault estimates that more than 300,000 are victims of human trafficking in our state, including nearly 80,000 underage boys and girls who are forced into prostitution. This is unacceptable.”

Ticket prices begin at $75 with sponsorship opportunities still available. Tickets can be purchased online by visiting “Eventbrite” and using the search-term “Hope Rising.”

The event will be held at the Rockin’ Star Ranch in Brenham from 6 - 9 p.m. on Dec. 8.
