One of the busiest travel days of the year arrives on Wednesday! Overall, the weather doesn't look too bad here in Central Texas.  Clouds will be on the increase with highs in the upper 50s and low 60s.  A few showers are possible Wednesday afternoon and evening, mainly across the southern half of Central Texas.  Any rain should end by midnight, so Thanksgiving day is looking dry and cool.

Here are other forecasts around Texas:

South Texas: Showers are likely from Houston, to Corpus Christi, to Brownsville starting Wednesday afternoon and ending before sunrise Thursday morning.  Highs will be in the 60s with lows in the 50s.

West Texas: Dry weather is expected around El Paso and Lubbock.  There could be a shower or two around Midland/Odessa during the day Wednesday, but no major travel troubles are expected.  Highs will be in the 50s with lows in the 30s and 40s.

Texas Panhandle: Great travel weather here!  It looks dry with highs in the 50s and lows in the 30s.

North Texas: There is a slight chance of showers Wednesday, but most of the activity will occur to the south of the Dallas/Ft.Worth Metroplex.  Highs are expected to be in the low 60s with lows in the 40s.

East Texas: Clouds will be on the increase Wednesday.  Highs will make it into the 60s with lows in the 40s.  Showers will be in the increase Wednesday evening and come to an end Thanksgiving morning.
