A former Central Texas hospital worker will serve five years in prison after pleading guilty to three counts of invasive visual recording.

Waco police arrested Johnny Basye in 2016 after officers said he took nude photos and videos of patients at Baylor Scott & White Hillcrest. Basye worked there at the time, but he was terminated once the hospital found out about the situation.

On Friday, as part of a plea bargain with the McLennan County District Attorney's Office, he agreed to serve five years in prison.
