The Lowes home improvement chain salutes the nation's veterans with a brand-new store benefit, just for them.
Lowes stores around the country, have designated four prime parking spaces near their entrances, as "veterans parking."
Every store in the country now has them, including the store in Waco on north New Road.
Assistant store manager Rod Serrano says the Waco store even went a step further to honor veterans.
"So in addition to the parking logo, we actually added in a stencil. It just basically has a soldier and it says it's reserved for those who have served," said Serrano.
The Waco Lowes welcomes as many as 50 to 75 veterans a day, to shop with them.
