A man was arrested and charged on Thursday after police say he struck a victim in the head and left the scene with money.
According to Bellmead police, on Oct. 14, officers responded to 4952 Williams Road regarding an assault. A 36-year-old victim said two suspects came into his home.
One suspect, 37-year-old Joshua Jackson hit the victim in the head with a handgun and caused loss of consciousness and lacerations.
The victim was provided medical assistance from first responders at the scene.
A warrant was obtained for Jackson’s arrest.
He was arrested and charged with aggravated robbery.
He was transported to the McLennan County Jail. His bond is set at $30,000.
