The City of Copperas Cove will hold a runoff election for the mayor next month.

This comes after one of the three candidates did not receive the majority of the vote on Nov. 6, as required by the City Charter.

Copperas Cove residents will now choose between the two top contenders, Azeita Taylor and Frank Seffrood.

Taylor received 43 percent of the vote and Seffrood had 47 percent of the vote.

Early voting will take place from Dec. 3 - 7 from 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. at 210 S. 1st Street.

Election Day will be held on Dec. 11 from 7 a.m. - 7 p.m. at the same polling place.
