Deputies located an abandoned vehicle and a male body linked to the vehicle by the Twin Bridges near Lake Waco Tuesday morning.
According to Waco police, at 10:30 a.m. the body of a male linked to the abandoned vehicle was reported in the water at Woodway Park 2 by Woodway police.
The discovery led to a Waco police investigation of a questionable death.
The identity of the body is believed to be known. Pending notification of the next of kin, the name is not yet being released.
Justice of the Peace Peterson responded to the scene and an autopsy has been ordered.
