The City of Waco has been preparing for their bulk clean-up day on Saturday, Nov. 10.

The clean up is in place to rid neighborhoods and homes of clutter, garbage and unwanted furniture.

Residents from around district one in Waco are encouraged to move those items to the curb on their street. On Friday, members of Keep Waco Beautiful gave a hand of help to multiple disabled residents in the neighborhood.

Leaders and volunteers are happy to help those in need of assistance and feel that the opportunity brings the community together.

"It allows me to come around and get to know the neighbors, get to know the neighborhood and then to volunteer and help get the stuff out to the curb, so it gives me a warm and cozy feeling," said Ken Willits, a board member of Keep Waco Beautiful.

District two will be the next stop and will continue through the other districts.
