Texas Department of Public Safety troopers in the panhandle arrested a California driver caught with 150 pounds of marijuana in her car.
The driver, 50-year-old Paulette Orona, of Winnetka, California, was pulled over by troopers in Oldham County. A K-9 on scene alerted troopers of possible drugs in the vehicle, leading troopers to find multiple plastic-wrapped packages of marijuana and THC oil inside eight large duffel bags.
Orona was arrested and charged with felony possession of marijuana. She was brought to the Oldham County Jail.
Troopers say Orona was transporting the marijuana from Winnetka, California to Minneapolis, Minnesota.
