The Lady Bears host Nicholls State tomorrow night at 6 p.m.

But, they still have one big question hanging over their heads with the start of their 2018 season less than 24 hours away.

"Can we compete without Morris in the backcourt, and will somebody step up and play the point guard position to where we can relax? That's where I think Chloe gets the first shot at it," Lady Bears Head Coach Kim Mulkey said.

Senior transfer Chloe Jackson will take over at point after primarily playing off the ball at LSU.

Jackson said she still needs to improve, but teammate Lauren Cox said the whole team needs to be better.

"Its been intense. She's intense.  But it's been good. I'm getting it each and every day just learning the plays and learning everyone's strengths and weaknesses also," Chloe Jackson, Lady Bears' senior guard, said.

"We have three post players that are freshmen this year. Kalani and I will have to step up because they can't always go to a coach whenever they have a question," Lauren Cox, Lady Bears' junior guard, said.

Waco native Juicy Landrum will get minutes as the back-up point guard.
