Over 100 student pilots from five schools will be participating in the Region IV Intercollegiate Flight Association Safety and Flight Evaluation Conference (SAFECON).
SAFECON will be held at Central Texas College (CTC) the week of Oct. 29 with participants from CTC, Texas State Technical College, LeTroureau University, Louisiana Tech and Hinds Community College.
The event will be held at Skylark Field in Killeen so that the student pilots can complete both a series of flight and ground events.
