The Temple Historical Preservation Committee is honoring Baylor Scott & White Health with a Temple Historical Marker.
In 1963 "The Hill"’ was chosen to be erected in an unusual shape for the time period. The towers on "The Hill" represented the most advanced and modern patient facilities, based on the housing of nurse’s stations, clinic and hospital all under the same roof.
On Nov. 1 at noon, there will be a reception held at Baylor Scott & White Historical Alcove located at 2401 South 31st Street in Temple, to recognize the structure as the latest recipient of a Temple Historical Marker.
