Kool Smiles Dentists are holding their seventh annual Operation Troop Treats, a program where children can bring Halloween candy to the Waco Kool Smile offices in exchange for a toy.

The donated candy will be shipped in care packages overseas to U.S. service members, and local area veterans/first responders.

“Operation Troop Treats promotes healthy dental habits during Halloween and brings a little bit of holiday joy to U.S. service members deployed overseas and those who are with us here at home,” said Dr. Kunal Karan, ADD at Kool Smiles’ Waco offices. “Many of our Kool Smiles patient families and employees are current or former service members, so this is a small way for us to share a smile with our troops and say thank you to those who sacrifice so much to ensure our safety and security.”

In addition to the donated candy, Kool Smiles will be providing 200 dental care kits filled with letters of appreciation, food, entertainment and hygiene to be shipped to service members.

Drop by Saturday, Oct. 27 through Saturday, Nov. 3, to make donations at either:

529 N. Valley Mills Drive, Waco, Texas 76710, (254) 230-1016

1601 Walton Drive, Waco, Texas 76705 (254) 523-4558
