The recall includes 2,490,593 pounds of ready-to-eat taquitos that were produced between July 1 and Oct. 10 by Ruiz Food Products, Inc.

The problem was discovered on Oct. 16 when Ruiz Food Products, Inc. learned the onions used in its beef and cheese taquitos were being recalled by their supplier for Salmonella and Listeria concerns.

The FSIS said the following products are being recalled:

Customers who purchased these products are urged by the FSIS not to eat them. The products should be thrown away or returned to the place of purchase.
