Halloween in the Park hosted by the Robinson Police Department has been canceled.
According to Robinson police, they have decided to cancel the event on Oct. 27. They said the park has seen a tremendous amount of rain, leaving the park vulnerable.
There was also a shortage of booth participation and could be due to numerous other events going on the same day.
Robinson police said they have decided to save their resources for future events but will have officers handing out candy on Halloween.
