Police are investigating after a man was found with stab wounds.
Waco police said the assault happened Thursday around 5:30 p.m. in the 2100 block of Maple Avenue.
Officers were told there was some kind of disturbance and the possible suspects and victims had left the scene. Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission officers and a Waco detective saw one of the involved vehicles in the 900 block of N. 66th Street and issued a traffic stop.
During the stop, officers found the man suffering from stab wounds. He was taken to the hospital for treatment and his condition is unknown.
As of Friday morning, Waco police are unsure what happened and who the suspects and victims are, but they don't believe it was a random assault.
Waco police will continue to investigate the incident.
