Baylor's 2019 football schedule, which includes seven home games for the first time at McLane Stadium, was announced Thursday by the Big 12 Conference.

The schedule features Baylor’s first seven-game home schedule since 2013. The Bears open the 2019 season with back-to-back home games against Stephen F. Austin (Aug. 31) and UTSA (Sept. 7).

Home Big 12 Conference dates include Iowa State (Sept. 28), Texas Tech (Oct. 12), West Virginia (Oct. 31), Oklahoma (Nov. 16) and Texas (Nov. 23). The match-up with WVU is scheduled for a Halloween Thursday night, while Texas Tech’s visit to Waco is its first since 2007. The series with Texas Tech will be played on campus in each of the next two seasons with Baylor visiting Jones AT&T Stadium in Lubbock during the 2020 campaign.

Baylor plays nine of 12 regular-season games in the state of Texas in 2019, including a non-conference visit to Houston to face Rice on Sept. 21. Other road trips include conference match-ups at K-State (Oct. 5), Oklahoma State (Oct. 19), TCU (Nov. 9) and the regular season finale at Kansas (Nov. 30).

The top two finishers in the Big 12 regular season standings will compete for the conference title in the Big 12 Football Championship Game, which is scheduled in 2019 for Saturday, December 7. The championship game will be played in Arlington, Texas' AT&T Stadium through 2021.

All dates are subject to change. Television selections for the first three weeks of the season and special dates are due to the conference by June 1, 2019. The date for Baylor's 2019 Homecoming celebration will be designated at a later time.
