Survey crews from the National Weather Service have confirmed five tornadoes from storms on Oct. 13.
According to the National Weather Service, based on spotters and storm chaser videos, two new tornadoes were verified. One in Hill County and the second one in Freestone County. Assessment of tornado damage in Navarro County is still ongoing and new information will be provided in the next few days.
On Saturday, there were three tornado paths found in Hill County, one in Ellis County and one in Southern Freestone County.
NWS confirmed the tornadoes west of Interstate 35 just north of Pattons Mill Road, where the first tornado was rated an EF-0 with wind speeds of up to 80 mph.
The second tornado formed just northeast of that area and was rated as an EF-1 with wind speeds of up to 100 mph.
The tornado caused extensive home damage.
