Z modular will soon bring 250 jobs to the area of Killeen. Z modular is a division of Zekelman industries, manufacturing American-made steel-framed modules for a variety of markets including hospitality, affordable multifamily housing and student housing.
The company is hoping to fill the 250 spots in the course of three years. The new facility will be in the 230,000 square foot building at 710 Swanner Loop in the Killeen Industrial Park.
“We’re excited to be openly welcomed into this community,” said Douglas Henriquez, general manager of Z Modular, “and will rely on the local, highly skilled workers to run our innovative approach to traditional building methods.”
