Lampasas police located the potential victim of the incident and said the event appears to have been a mild dispute.

According to Lampasas police, the 18-year-old victim is well, unharmed and cooperating. The two male suspects have been identified.

Though an investigation is still underway, it initially appears the event was a mildly violent dispute between acquaintances.

At 4:52 p.m. officers received the first of two 911 calls of a 13 or 14-year-old girl exiting a vehicle before being grabbed by the driver and forced back inside.

The girl exited a black dully pickup with lots of chrome and a bike was in its bed. The vehicle was driving on the 900 block of S Broad Street. After the girl exited the vehicle, the driver chased after her before forcing her back into the pickup. The pickup was last seen driving west on 6th Street.

About 30 minutes after the 911 calls, officers located a matching description of the vehicle at a McDonald’s about two blocks from the initial incident. Both occupants denied involvement.

The incident is still under investigation.
