Man arrested and charged after sheriff’s office found marijuana, THC oil and dosage units of LSD in his possession on Monday.

According to the McLennan County Sheriff’s Office, at approximately 8:51 p.m. deputy Joseph Jones and captain Sherry Beard conducted a traffic stop on a 1999 Toyota four-door vehicle near the 339-mile marker in Bellmead.

The traffic stop was conducted after observing the suspect vehicle to be displaying an expired license plate.

Angel Diaz, 19, was found in possession of a one-quarter pound of marijuana, six vials of THC oils and 11 dosage units of LSD. All suspected narcotics were located after consent to search the vehicle was denied.

Deputy Jones conducted a free air sniff around the vehicle with K-9 Bullet and showed a positive alert on the suspect vehicle.

Diaz was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana, possession of THC and possession of LSD.

He was transported to the McLennan County Jail.
