Verizon was experiencing voice, text and data service interruptions in some markets.
According to the Houston Chronicle, parts of Texas, including Dallas, Houston and Austin, have been hit by outages.
Other states such as Illinois, Michigan, New York, Oklahoma and Washington D.C. have been affected as well.
Verizon said they are aware of the issue and are working to resolve it.
Verizon Wireless is currently experiencing an intermittent voice, text and data services interruption for customers in some markets in the south. Our engineers are aware of the issue and are working diligently to resolve it.
