Citizens and organizations gathered at the City of Waco Multi-Purpose Center in East Waco on Monday for a development meeting.
The meeting was hosted by City Center Waco with help from the North East Riverside Neighborhood Association and the Cen-Tex African American Chamber of Commerce.
They invited all citizens to join and voice their concerns about the new investments including hotels, restaurants and a fitness center.
The organizations took detailed notice of the concerns of the East Waco community. They plan to take action to those needs.
