The Big 12 Conference office announced its women's basketball national and regional Fox broadcast schedule Wednesday, and Baylor is just six game times away from a complete 2018-19 schedule.
As of Wednesday, the Lady Bears are set to appear on television 21 times, including seven national television broadcasts between ESPN and Fox networks. Six game times and television assignments remain in question as no tip times or telecasts have been set for Baylor's matchup at Stanford Dec. 15, vs. UConn at home Jan. 3, at Kansas Jan. 16, at Oklahoma State Jan. 30, at Texas Feb. 4, and at Kansas State Feb. 13.
The Lady Bears will take center stage Nov. 11 vs. Arizona State at a neutral site in Fort Defiance, Ariz. on ESPN2 at 6:30 p.m. and will return to ESPN2 at South Carolina Dec. 2 at 6 p.m.
Baylor will play three games on FS1 with both contests vs. Big 12 foe West Virginia on national television, beginning with the Jan. 20 contest at home at 4 p.m. and the regular-season finale March 4 in Morgantown, W.V. at 6 p.m. Baylor also plays host to Texas Feb. 25 and FS1 has that broadcast with an 8 p.m. tip.
In non-conference telecasts, Baylor's home contest with St. Francis (PA) on Nov. 8 will air on Fox Sports Southwest Plus, and the Lady Bears' matchups with Southern University (Nov. 15 at 6 p.m.) and Morehead State (Dec. 12 at Noon) will both air on Fox Sports Southwest.
All remaining Big 12 contests at home will air on the Fox Sports Network families. Jan. 9's contest with KSU will air on selected satellite stations, U-Verse and will be available on the Fox Sports Go app at 7 p.m. Baylor's Jan. 23 tangle with Iowa State airs on FSSW at 7 p.m., BU and Texas Tech will also play on FSSW at 1 p.m. Feb. 2, and Feb. 9 Baylor and TCU square off on FSSW at Noon.
The Lady Bears and Oklahoma Sooners play on FSSW+ at 7 p.m. Feb. 16 while Fox Sports Southwest will carry both the KU contest Feb. 20 at 6 p.m. and OSU March 2 at 1 p.m.
Baylor's remaining Big 12 road schedule features a televised contest at TCU Jan. 12 on FSSW at 3 p.m., the regional Fox Sports Network picked up BU's contest at OU Jan. 27 at 2 p.m., and FSN also will bring its regional broadcast crew to the Lady Bears' matchup at ISU Feb. 23 at 3 p.m.
The Fox Sports family of networks will also broadcast the 2019 Phillips 66 Big 12 Championship in Oklahoma City. The entire postseason championship will be televised for the sixth consecutive year beginning with the two first round contests on FCS. Quarterfinal games will air on FOX Sports Regional Networks for the 18th consecutive year while the semifinals and final will make their sixth national appearance on FS1. The final three games have appeared on a FOX Sports network every year since the inception of the Conference in 1996-97.
