The Village of Salado Police Department is warning the city of bobcats in the area.
According to their Facebook post, a bobcat was sighted taking a chicken out of a backyard near Tablerock.
They are asking residents to be aware of the animals in the area and to keep an eye on small pets.
They said to remember that these are wild animals and can be dangerous if they come in contact with humans.
