His smile will brighten any room and his heart belongs to a forever family, but 3-year-old Jakobe is still waiting to meet them.

"It's easy to fall in love with him.  He's so easy to fall in love with," said Jakobe's Wendy's Wonderful Kids Adoption Recruiter Anna Parris.

Jakobe was born at just 26-weeks and was in the hospital for the first 7-9 months of his life.  But he's a fighter.

"What do you see for his future?" we asked.

"It's limitless. It's really just going to be finding the right family and I think he's going to have a happy successful life," said Parris.

Parris is looking for the right match for Jakobe.

"I work really closely with CPS and if there are maybe more barriers for a child they ask for help," said Parris.

He bonds with others and explores the world around him.

"I think all the things right now that are barriers can be overcome with time and care and nurturing," said Parris.

With his current physical therapy, he's expected to walk soon and someday, run into the arms of a forever family.

"It's so rewarding when things do work out and there's a happy ending. It's so rewarding," said Parris.

Jakobe is featured in The Heart Gallery of Central Texas, a program of Partnerships for Children. You can read his bio hereto learn more about adoption.
