People gathered in Belton this evening to remember the lives lost in the 9/11 terrorist attacks.
The service began at the Bell County courthouse with a brief ceremony.
Dressed in red, white and blue, the Leon Heights Elementary Honor Choir sang the National Anthem and God Bless America.
Then, a candlelit walk led those gathering to the Belton Police Station Memorial.
Belton City officials also came together with the people of Bell County for a moment of silence.
