A driver in Freestone County was pulled over for a traffic violation but later charged for having methamphetamine and a loaded rifle inside of the car.
The Sheriff's Office said a when a deputy conducted a traffic stop in Teague, the driver, who is on parole, was found with the drugs and gun on Aug. 27.
The driver was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of a firearm a by felon.
