A man was arrested and charged after police said he shot his wife in the chest on Sunday.
According to the affidavit, Killeen police were dispatched to a location to investigate a shooting. Officers met with the victim who said her husband, 30-year-old Timothy Francis Decaille, shot her in the chest after getting into an argument.
Officers noted an obvious injury to the victim’s chest and she was transported to a hospital to be treated.
A search of the area led to the arrest of Decaille who admitted to officers that he shot the victim and then hid the firearms, according to the affidavit.
Officers were able to locate the firearms that Decaille hid.
Decaille was arrested and charged with aggravated assault bodily injury with a deadly weapon. He was transported to Bell County Jail.
His bond is set at $100,000.
