An argument at a Waco nightclub led to shots fired early Sunday morning.

Waco police were monitoring a scene at Club Krush located at 641 Ruby after a large crowd began to gather at a closed business, adjacent to the nightclub.

Police said that at 3:50 a.m., two people were arguing and shot their weapons. The shots were fired about 50 yards from a "clearly marked police vehicle," according to police.

Multiple rifle and handgun shells were recovered at the scene. Officers stated that the crowd was more than 300 people in size and they were in the immediate area.

Police said it is unknown if anyone was injured at this time.
