Three suspects were arrested after police say they stole a vehicle and lead officers on a short pursuit Wednesday afternoon.

According to Killeen police, at approximately 2:16 p.m. officers responded to a call of a stolen black Ford pickup on John Road. They located the vehicle traveling near an intersection on Cranford Avenue and 40th Street and attempted to conduct a traffic stop, but the driver refused leading police on a pursuit.

The pursuit lead towards Twin Creek Road and Creekside Drive and reached a dead end. The driver then rammed into a police unit and made a U-turn. The driver attempted to run over an officer forcing him to discharge his weapon.

The driver continued to drive onto Owl Hollow Circle and came to a stop crashing into a residence, according to Killeen police.

Officers apprehended the driver and two other juvenile suspects that were in the vehicle at approximately 2:52 p.m.

No injuries were reported in the incident.

The identities of the suspects were not released because they were juveniles.
