Police have arrested a man after they said attacked another man for taking a picture with his girlfriend.
Bellmead police said it happened on Aug. 10 just after 10 p.m.at a business located near the I-35 access road. Police said that a 17-year-old victim was assaulted by Gilberto Salazar, 20 after taking a photo with Salazar's girlfriend.
Salazar rushed the victim and began punching and kicking him, Bellmead police said. Another suspect was at the scene who also participating in beating the victim.
A 16-year-old victim at the scene tried to stop the fight and was hit in the head.
The suspects fled the scene before police arrived.
Salazar was found and arrested for aggravated assault.
