A man is dead after the Department of Public Safety said he drove off the road and hit a tree on Tuesday.
According to DPS Trooper Earnest Bosque, the crash happened around 5:15 p.m. on Highway 77 just south of CR 307A in Falls County.
The man was traveling northbound when he veered off the road and crashed into a tree.
He was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead from his injuries.
No one else was injured in the accident.
