Gregg County woods fire possibly started by power line

GREGG COUNTY, TX (KLTV) -

Fire crews responded to a woods fire in Gregg County.

According to officials, they are responding to a fire near Highway 42 and Harrison Road in Gregg County. The call initially reported a wildfire threatening structures, however, crews made quick work of controlling the fire. 

 It was also reported to be near a "tank farm."

White Oak Fire Department responded to the scene. 

According to a firefighter on the scene, a power line may have been the cause of the fire. 

Gregg County is under a burn ban as of this morning.
