A man charged with 2014 murder-for-hire of bus driver found guilty

A man who was charged with the murder of a Killeen bus driver was found guilty on Wednesday.

According to Killeen police, 33-year-old Andrew Hardesty was charged in 2015 for the murder of bus driver Christine Watkins. They said it was a murder-for-hire.

Hardesty was given life in prison without parole. 

Jo Ann Wilbert was also charged with capital murder, for her involvement in the murder-for-hire. She was found in Florida in 2017. Wilbert was transported back to Texas where she is now in custody.

He is being held at the Bell County Jail.
