A fourth suspect was arrested on Wednesday for the involvement of human trafficking at the Vegas Buffet.
According to McLennan County Sheriff Parnell McNamara, Sheng Weng was the previous owner of the Vegas Buffet but was still involved. He said Weng was delivering some workers to the restaurant in his own vehicle.
“He was right in the middle of it,” Sheriff McNamara said.
Weng was arrested and charged with engaging in an organized criminal activity. He was transported to McLennan County Jail.
He is out of jail on $25,000 bond.
