A woman was arrested and charged after assaulting two officers on May 19.
According to the affidavit, officers responded to a domestic dispute in Killeen. An officer identified Peggy Hutchinson and attempted to arrest her. She then kicked the officer in the face, causing him pain.
Hutchinson also attempted to take away the officer’s stun gun from its holster.
Another officer, who also responded to the call, said Hutchinson bit him in the leg. An affiant reviewed a photograph of the officer’s leg and saw a bite mark.
Hutchinson was arrested and charged with two counts of assault on a public servant and an attempt to take a weapon away from an officer.
She was transported to Bell County Jail.
Her bond is set at $250,000.
