One person was taken into custody after leading a McLennan County Sheriff's Deputy on a short low-speed chase through Waco on Monday night.
McLennan County Sheriff's Office said the deputy tried to make a traffic stop near Valley Mills and Sanger just before 9 p.m., but the suspect did not stop.
After a short chase, the suspect stopped at an apartment complex and tried to make a run for it. The deputy was able to catch the suspect, identified as Kyran Duntay Lilly.
Lilly was taken into custody and charged with evading arrest with a motor vehicle and evading arrest/detention.
