McLennan County deputies arrested a man on Wednesday after he sexually assaulted a girl under the age of 6-years-old on June 19.
According to the McLennan County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to a call from a parent telling them her daughter was sexually assaulted in June.
The sheriff’s office obtained a warrant for 67-year-old Phillip Williams for the charge of aggravated sexual assault of a child under the age of 6-years-old.
On Wednesday, deputies stopped Williams on the 100 block of Dustin Drive and arrested him. He was then transported to McLennan County Jail.
His bond is set at $25,000.
