The Grapevine Fire Department said one life was saved this morning thanks to a life jacket.
They said they responded to call around 1 a.m. about someone in the lake. They said they found a woman safe, floating on a disabled boat. She told the fire department that she was with a man who had entered the water, and the boat had floated away from him.
They were able to find him, floating safely in the water with his life jacket.
The fire department encourages everyone to wear a life jacket while enjoying the lake.
