The Killeen Regional Fire Coordinator and the Coryell County Emergency Manager said that 200 acres were burned in a wildland fire in Coryell County near State Highway 36 and FM 182.

The fire initially threatened three homes in the area, but no homes were damaged, and there were no injuries.

They said the fire is 75 percent contained, and they hope to have it completely contained by Tuesday night. They will be on scene to control hot spots and flareups.
