Media members have spoken and the only Big 12 team they picked Baylor football to finish higher than is the Kansas Jayhawks.
Oklahoma finished atop the preseason poll for the third year in a row. West Virginia, TCU, and Texas also received first place votes.
The vote isn't shocking after last season's Bears put together a 1-11 record (their only win coming against Kansas). But, with a host of transfers and redshirts now eligible to play, this Baylor team should look a lot different than last season's young squad.
Fans and media will get their next look at the team July 17 in Frisco for Big 12 Media Days.
