Participating Stripes stores will be giving away free small Slurpee drinks from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on July 11.

On Wednesday, 7-Eleven, which recently acquired Stripes, will celebrate its 91st birthday. Every July 11, the company celebrates by offering free Slurpee drinks at participating locations.

This year, Stripes will also participate in the celebration as part of its Celebration of Summer.

"We are thrilled to offer our customers free Slurpee drinks tomorrow, 7/11/18,  as we celebrate the summer of more at Stripes," said Greg Kirian, director of marketing for Stripes. "We want to continue to engage with our guests in our stores, at local events in our communities and across our social media platforms to provide them with a summer of more experience."

The drinks will be available while supplies last. The offer is not available in the West Texas area.

7-Eleven was founded in 1927 when a Dallas ice truck employee began selling milk, bread, and eggs to customers as a convenience when traditional grocery stores were closed.
