WILLIAMSON COUNTY, TX (KXXV) -

Why did the turtle cross the road? To escape from Williamson County Sheriff Robert Chody.

The sheriff posted a video of him trying to move a turtle out of the road to safety. When he makes contact with the turtle, it immediately flees the scene.

Watch the video, the turtle is way faster than it looks.

This isn't the first time the sheriff's office had an incident with animals crossing the road. The sheriff posted a video of three administrative assistants chasing a chicken in the parking lot in May.

Now the question is, should the turtle be arrested for evading law enforcement?
