Williamson County Sheriff Robert Chody said an area in Round Rock is now reopened after a possible explosive device was found on Monday afternoon.
The Sheriff's Office closed Hillside Drive as deputies responded to the scene.
They said that a renter at a home had moved out, and while the property managers were clearing the home, they found ammunition and a manuscript on how to make bombs. The sheriff's office said that they detonated one device as a precautionary measure.
Everyone in the neighborhood has been told that they can return to their homes.
