Catch A Special Thrill, known as the CAST For Kids Foundation, held its second annual fishing event on Saturday.
Dozens of children with special needs and volunteers cast their lines into Lake Waco for a day of bonding.
"We exist to celebrate these people and just show them how valued and important they are and we do that by taking them fishing," said CAST Executive Director Jay Yelas.
CAST is the largest fishing charity in the United States.
The foundation also has a Take a Warrior Fishing Program for veterans and a Fishing for Kids Program for urban youth.
