GREENSBORO, N.C. (AP) - Police have charged two men with first-degree murder in one of three deadly shootings in a North Carolina city on the same day last month.
Greensboro police say 24-year-old Ladarius Devon Riley and 35-year-old Xavier Alanson Bell are charged in the death of 24-year-old Vincent Roland at an apartment complex on June 25.
Police arrested Riley in Durham Friday. Greensboro police learned Bell was on a bus headed for Dallas, Texas, and they worked with the State Bureau of Investigation and Dallas police to apprehend Bell at the Greyhound bus station. He awaits extradition back to North Carolina to face charges.
The two men also are charged with attempted first-degree murder and robbery with a dangerous weapon. Riley is jailed without bail. It's not known if he has an attorney.
