Former KXXV anchor, Bruce Gietzen, announced as one of the new voices of the Lady Bears

Former KXXV evening anchor Bruce Gietzen will be the new voice of the Lady Bears, according to Baylor University. 

Gietzen will join Maggie Davis-Stinnett to call Baylor women's basketball games beginning in 2018. The new team succeeds the longtime voices fo the Lady Bears, Rick May and Lori Fogleman. 

Gietzen is also the Director of Student Publications at Baylor and teaches in the journalism department. He was the radio color analyst for the Houston Astros for three seasons and a contributing reporter to Prime Sports( Fox), ESPN, CNN, ABC, MLB and NBA. He will be the program's play-by-play voice.

Davis-Stinett, a Lady Bear Hall of Famer, will serve as the color analyst. 

Gietzen and Davis-Stinnett will broadcast Lady Bear basketball games on the Baylor IMG Sports Network. IMG, America’s Home for College Sports, is the Multi-Media rights Holder and partner of Baylor Athletics.
